The Last Drifter

An AI system was programmed to take a spaceship that carries possibly the last few humans in hibernation to its intended destination. The destination was a possibly habitable planet. One route to its destination a stasis chamber accidentally opened up with a person inside. The human explores the huge spaceship and tries to recall his memories. The human realizes that he is the last awake human alive as the other stasis chambers cannot be opened. The human cannot access anything on the spaceship without the onboard AI's permission. The AI reluctant to give the human free access to the ship tries to persuade and order the human to stop. The human notices that the AI is hiding a large secret. After many tries he human founds out that the destination planet is uninhabitable, but the AI does not know. The human tries to persuade the AI to change its course but unintentionally finds out the huge secret the AI was carrying.
